Programmer/Analyst
Well, Thomas Wolfe was wrong, you can go home again. After all my previous jobs, I accepted a position at Reemay, Inc. as a programmer/analyst. Reemay makes non-woven fabric and probably the most familiar use is dry sheets. Proctor and Gamble buys a huge amount of our product and adds the chemicals to produce those little static free sheets. So those of you who are using liquid fabric softeners, stop now and start buying Snuggles. And as you can see from the Reemay web page, there are hundreds of other uses.
My job involves mostly database programming. All of our business transactions are maintained in an RDB (okay, so maybe this isn't the latest one but it works great for us) database and our job is to fix those little annoying problems that crop up for the users as well as continue to refine and improve the programming. We use a product called GEMBASE which we purchased from ROSS SYSTEMS as our programming language, but we still have to use SQL to analyze and modify some of the data. So my experience during the MTSU days has come in handy. Also, we do a lot of FORTRAN programming so I've had to blow the dust off some of my FORTRAN references.

chamber within .2 degrees F
Major Accomplishment:
Developed and implemented computer programs
resulting in more efficient use of labor and more efficient use of test
chambers in the laboratory.
